Nasser Munjee holds a master's degree in economics from the London School of Economics. He earlier held various positions, including
executive director, at HDFC for over 20 years. He was the managing director of IDFC. Currently, Mr. Munjee is the chairman of DCB Bank.
He is also on the boards of various multinational companies and trusts. Mr. Munjee has deep interest in rural development, housing finance,
urban issues, infrastructure and humanitarian causes. He was a technical advisor to the World Bank's Public Private Partnership
Infrastructure and Advisory Fund. Mr. Munjee was adjudged best Independent Director by the Asian centre for Corporate Governance and
Sustainability. He was also awarded the Indian Business Leader of the year 2014 by Horasis in Switzerland.
